SISA students who have been admitted to U.S. schools attend an orientation geared to high school, college, or graduate school before making the journey abroad. Practical matters, such as immigration issues, money, immunizations, and other preparations for going to the United States are covered by experienced counselors. Orientation is an opportunity for parents and students to learn what to expect, as well as to meet each other and the SISA staff. It also includes seminars on reading course catalogs, time management, and study skills.
